Angle Die Grinder

I need to cut some tile can I use a Metal angle grinder for this with a metal round cutting bit ?

I've already morted it on the wall and my brother-in-law cut it wrong and wants to try this. My die grinder burned up with a diamond tip.

You can use a 4 inch makita grinder home depot sells continous rim diamond blades for about 27.00.Check the blade to make sure it is a dry or wet blade and that you align the blade with the grinder rotation there are arrows on the blade and the grinder.Do not use a segmented blade because they cause bad chipping on the cutting edge.Also make sure you where safety glasses having tile chips removed from your eyes isn't fun and I have had to have that done even after wearing safety glasses.
