COnverting a School Bus to an RV, where to get mechanical services done?

I've seen a few of these "skoolies" around the parks lately. A school bus seems like a perfect heavy-duty base to build an RV in... but where to get these monsters fixed when they need it?

I had a friend convert an old Greyhound bus to a nice recreational vehicle. There are a number of independent diesel mechanics around and they could handle the engine, brakes and running gear on a converted vehicle. The main difficulty in doing these conversions is the interior and adding the recreational vehicle interior with bathroom, stove, microwave, stereo, A/C and heater, etc. You will need to have a cabinet maker or someone who is a very handy carpenter to finish out the interior. The good news is that most of the buses were made to go many hundreds of thousands of miles.
