A pretty annoying computer problem?

Hello I'm having a bit of a dilemma with my computer. One day I decided to unplug all of my plugs from the computer to clean the insider around the motherboard power-supply etc. But when I tried to remove the vga cable from the vga input I wiggled the cable to try and get it lose. I guess I wiggled the cable to hard and the screw holders( the little screw inputs on the side of the vga port itself) came out and when I tried to put reconnect the vga cable. A message came on my screen and it said check video signal. Can I connect the screw holders back on the sides of the vga input?

Yes you should be able to put them back, make sure you tighten them securely so it won't happen again.
