Using a bluetooth phone with unlimited internet access to connect a laptop (with bluetooth) to the internet?
I have a Palm Centro with Sprint as my cellphone people. I just got around to setting up the bluetooth to connect it to my laptop. When I connected to the internet using dial-up, I noticed that it first tried to connect by bluetoothing my Centro. It didn't work, so it connected me normally (I'm using AOL). I have unlimited data plan on my cellphone, and the internet on it is much faster than dialup. So is there anyway I can do that?
Sprint offers some sort of thing like I'm talking about (I think anyway) but they charge $60 a month. I'm looking for something just using my cellphone and bluetooth.
And my laptop is running Vista, if that matters
Get a blackberry -- it has tethering. Uses the blackberry as a portable modem for your laptop.
