The Bosch 4100 09 Table saw is the newer model of the top selling Bosch 4000 09 table saw. The Bosch 4100 Series is offered in 3 models. The Bosch 4100 stock unit not including the gravity rise stand (if you plan to utilize the saw on another bench or it is not considered necessary to be portable). The Bosch 4100 09 table saw including the Gravity-Rise Wheel Stand is the second model up and the Bosch 4100DG model is the 3rd which features a Digital Square-lock rip fence and Gravity rise stand. The 4100DG is the top of the range of the 4100 series.

•The Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw is a 10inch saw that delivers continuous smooth power thanks to Bosch's Constant Response Circuitry. What this does is it monitors the power of the motor and produces more torque as required while cutting to maintain a continual rpm or power output. This is the case even when the saw is under great load, this technology allows direct torque input for smooth operation and continuous cutting speed. Bosch has also included a Soft Start technology that will cause the saw to be a lot quieter starting up than most other brands of table saws and even whilst cutting.

•The Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw features Bosch's award winning new Gravity Rise stand. This stand folds up and sets-up with no difficulty and no struggle on your behalf. It is extremely versatile and can go over various different types of terrain with it's 8" pneumatic wheels. This portablity helps you to cart your Bosch 4100 09 Table Saw around from home to your worksite very easily. Plus the way in which the stand folds up it permits one to store the saw in space limited places also quite easily.

•The Bosch 4100 09 table saw has a very large worktop. It measures 29 x 21.5inches and is a machined aluminium top. This big worktop permits one to rip larger timber a great deal easier. The table also has built in extenders and additional back and rear extensions can be obtained to further enlarge the support of larger timber when ripping if necessary.

•The patented Smart Guard System is a additional safety feature from Bosch and is a modular easy-to-use blade guard, anit-kickback pawls and riving knife. No tools are required to attach or detach any of these features/accessories. •A machined standard precision aluminium Squarelock™ Rip Fence has been incorporated with the Bosch 4100 09 table saw and this fence which has been engineered for utmost trueness plus rugged resilience glides effortlessly along the rail or locks into place firmly for steady cutting performance.

"This is as close as you can come to getting a shop saw without buying a shop saw--and it stands up on end and rolls away. The wheels on the stand could be bigger as other people have talked about, this will not roll up or down stairs. It travels the job place just fine, furthermore the saw has stacks of power.

I have used it to build cabinet doors, cut grooves with the dado, rip heaps of studs, sheets of ply, and so forth. It is just a versatile, robust, accurate tool.

One of my top 10 all time Amazon purchases, and top 5 all time tool purchases.

"This is a great saw - the whole lot was perfect out of the box. I had gone to a big box store to get a feel for the product and both places had the gravity stand fastened to firm - so I was not crazy about the stand.When I followed the directions for assembly of the stand it ended up wonderful - folding and unfolding with little effort -my wife tried it and even she was impressed!!
I love the way all the accesories including the saw guard have a storage point!
Soft start is great - no more blown circuits like I had with my previous portable. Crosscuts and rips great - I recently ripped 8' of 1 1/4" Cherry - no problem. Purchased all the accesories to go with it - the outfeed extension works great."
